JAMMU, Dec 12: Cluster University of Jammu organised open selection trials for Shooters in Air Rifle and Air Pistol (Men-Women) competitions at Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu, opposite Toph Bridge Akhnoor road ,here today. The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education and Sports, Cluster University of Jammu.
In Men’s 10M Air Rifle event Himanshu Gupta, Krish Singh Chaouhan and Arun Dev Singh of MAM College, Paras Dalbir Singh from GGM Science College and Sainath Jogdand from School of Social Sciences got selected for Inter-University tournaments for the session 2023-2024 and Lalit Singh from Government MAM College selected in 10 M Pistol (Men) event.
In the Women’s section Aneesha Sharma, Shimani Choudhary and Sumeet Choudhary were elected in the 10m Air Rifle events for the Inter-University tournament. Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, Government SPMR College of Commerce and Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director GCOE Jammu were present during the occasion. The match was officiated by Aman Singh and Vishal Mehra.
