JAMMU, Dec 13: On second day of Yuvtarang 2023, the ongoing cultural event and literary fest organized by the Department of Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu, GGM Science College organized the Literary events and on spot photography whereas Govt College of Education hosted events of Painting, Poster Making and Cartooning.
1st position in Elocution was secured by Pranav Pandita of BSc Sem V, GGM Science College and 2nd position was bagged by Anisha Kour, BA Sem III of GCW Gandhi Nagar while 3rd position was secured by Ridham of B Com 1st semester from SPMR College of Commerce.
In Debate competition, 1st position was secured by Jeevika Mishri, BA Sem V and Ashpreet Kour, BA Sem V from GCW Gandhi Nagar while 2nd position was bagged by Manmeet Kour, BSc Sem I and Ayush Parihar BSc Sem III from GGM Science College, Jammu. Roopanshi Bhat and Tanisha Sharma from the School of Sciences bagged 3rd position.
The literary events were adjudged by Dr Sohab Malik and Dr Garima Gupta from Jammu University and Dr Ritu Mangotra from GCW Parade.
In Photography, the 1st position was secured by Loveleen Kour, of SOTE, CLUJ and 2nd position was bagged by Ankita from GCOE while 3rd position was secured by Himanshi, School of Humanities and Liberal Arts.
In the Painting competition, organized at Govt College of Education, Ishit Kaur, GGM Science College, stood 1st while Hitakshi Sharma from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Ananya Gupta stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In Poster Making, Rashi and Sania from GCW Gandhi Nagar bagged 1st and 2nd positions and Pranav from SPMR College of Commerce bagged 3rd position.
In Cartooning, Parasey Sharma and Naeeya Gupta from GCW Gandhi Nagar stood 1st and 2nd, respectively and Vrindha Bhagat from School of Humanities and Liberal Arts bagged 3rd position.
Prof Nidhi Kotwal, Principal GDC Basholi; Dr Amarjeet Singh and Rakesh Sharma from IMFA were the adjudicators for the Photography, Painting, Poster Making and Cartooning events.
The entire event was organized and coordinated under the supervision of Dr Ranvijay Singh, DSW; Dr Kuldeep Raina , Cultural Coordinator; Dr Devinder Kumar, Prof Ashu Manhas, Prof Mohd Ashraf and Dr Shubra Jamwal.
