PM package employees meet CS, submit memorandum

JAMMU, Dec 14: The delegation of Vessu Welfare Committee and Mattan PM Package Association led by Sunny Raina and Ranjan Jotshi president Vessu Welfare Committee and PM Package Employees Association Mattan respectively called on Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo in his chamber in Civil Secretariat here, today and submitted a memorandum regarding the issues being facing by employees in Valley.
The issue regarding accommodations, SRO, transfer on medical grounds, opening of K.V schools in all transit camps, release of salaries and settling of other issues were highlighted in the memorandum. The issue of pending promotions in different departments was also discussed with CS.
Sunny Raina later in press statement said that it was an immense delight to have a meeting with Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo today.
He said the Chief Secretary assured to the delegation that all possible steps will be taken to mitigate the problems of PM Package employees and their issues will be taken on priority.
The delegation later met Director Finance (R&B) and requested him to address the issue of pending salary of some PM Package R&B employees. The Director Finance issued on the spot directions to concerned officers to resolve the issue.
The other members of the delegation were Vinod Tickoo, Shakti Kumar, Suriender Pandit, Amit Raina, Chand Jee, Sunil Pandit, Vinod Kumar, Sunil Koul, Romi Koul and Sunil Raina.
