JAMMU, Dec 15: In an ongoing ‘Yuvtarang 2023’organized by the Department of Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu under the patronage of Prof Bechan Lal, the Vice Chancellor was dedicated to Kalanjali events of ‘Mime’, ‘Skit’, ‘Classical Instrumental Solo’, ‘Classical Vocal Solo’ and ‘Indian Group Song’ organised on the fourth day of the event.
Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, Dr Ranvijay Singh, Dean Students Welfare, Dr Satinder Kour, Dean Research, Dr Minu Mahajan, Principal, GCW, Gandhi Nagar,Dr Rakesh Jasrotia, HOD, Chemistry, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Dr Kuldeep Raina, Cultural Coordinator, Prof Ashu Manhas, Associate Dean (SW), Prof Mohd Ashraf and Prof Sunita, Assistant Deans (SW), members of Campus Cultural Committee, faculty members and students were present during the events.
Prof D S Manhas, Director Placement Cell, CLUJ and Dr Vishal Sharma, Dean, School of Social Sciences were the Observers. Dr Neelima and Prof Asha Rani were the Events Incharge.
In Mime, MAM stood first, GCW Gandhi Nagar secured second whereas GGM Science College bagged third position. In Skit, GGM Science College bagged first, MAM and GCW Gandhi Nagar secured second and third positions respectively.
In Classical Instrumental Solo’, Rahul Bhardwaj and Khemraj Kumarfrom MAM College stood first and second respectively whereas Nitish Kumar from GGM Science College secured third position.In ‘Classical Vocal Solo’, Davinder and Shartik from MAM College stood first and second respectively and Abhishek from GGM Science College secured third position.In ‘Indian Group Song’, MAM College bagged first position whereas GM Science College secured second position.
Dr Abhishek Bharti, Theatre Director, Ifra Kak, Cultural Officer, Jammu University, Kamal Razdaan were the adjudicators for Mime and Skit. Dr Anjul Aggarwal, IMFA, Neeraj Verma, Drama and Music and ?Dr. Roshi Shamminotra, IMFA were the adjudicators for Classical Instrumental Solo. Dr. Roshi Shamminotra. IMFA, Dr. Jasmeet Kour, GCW Parade and Dr. Mukteshi Sharma, GCW Parade adjudged Classical vocal solo and Indian group song. The entire event was planned, coordinated and managed by Dr Ranvijay Singh, Dean and his team of Department of Students Welfare, CLUJ.
