JAMMU, Dec 19: Inter-Collegiate Badminton (Women) tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced at University Gymnasium Hall here today.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the opening match.
The results of the day were MIET Jammu beat GMC Rajouri by 2-0, GCET Jammu beat GDC Purmandal by 2-0, MIET beat GCW Kathua by 2-0, MIER beat GCW Parade by 2-0, PG. Department JU beat GDC Samba by 2-0 and MIER Jammu beat MIET Jammu by 2-1. MIET beat GCET by 2-0 in the 1st semi-final match.
