REASI, Dec 19: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging from a tree near his house at Gajoti in tehsil Thakrakote, here this morning.
The deceased was identified as Sanjeet Singh, age 21 years, son of Sansar Singh, resident of Jhandi, at present Gajoti.
The body was spotted by some locals who informed the Police. Later, a Police team from Police Post Thanole shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
