JAMMU, Dec 20: S.J.M Gillani, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K chaired a preparatory meeting of officers here today through video conferencing to review the arrangements for 72nd All India Police Hockey Championship 2023-24 being hosted by Jammu & Kashmir Police at Jammu from January 29 to February 8, 2024.
During the meeting, the ADGP took stock of all the arrangements and preparations made by the different committees in connection with smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The concerned committee heads briefed the ADGP with regard to the necessary arrangements, preparations to be made for smooth conduct of the event and put forth their feedback. During the meeting the ADGP Armed J&K issued appropriate directions and instructions to the concerned committees relating to their respective assignments.
Earlier, Kuldeep Handoo DySP (Sports) APHQ apprised about all the arrangements assigned to different officers for the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The Kashmir and Jammu based officers who attended the meeting include M.N Tiwari, IGP Armed Jammu; Shahid Mehraj, DIG AP Kashmir; Anita Sharma, CO IRP-14th Battalion; Mubassir Latifi, CO IRP-15th Battalion; Dr. Koshal Sharma, CO IRP-19th Battalion; Z.N. Manhas, CO SDRF 2nd Battalion; Sanjeev Kumar Khajuria, CO IRP-24th Battalion including many other senior officers attended the meeting.
