JAMMU, Dec 25: GD Goenka Public School, Akhnoor hosted two day long ‘Velvet Vibe Winter Carnival,’. Priya Sethi, former Minister and folk singer Saras Bharti were chief guests who inaugurated the event.
On day one showcased diverse performances, including cultural dances representing various countries such as Japan, USA, Saudi Arabia, Italy and India. In addition, students displayed their acquired martial arts skills and the day concluded with a mesmerizing performance by Saras Bharti.
Rajeev Sharma, former MLA of Akhnoor among others were present as dignitaries on the second day where special performances, Santa’s Village, Winter Life Wild Exhibition, Science Exhibition, games, and dance were the main attractions.
RJ Shwetima, and the renowned folk singer Sonali Dogra added a touch of media sophistication. The evening showcased cultural richness, featuring various dance forms representing the diverse tapestry of India. The Carnival reached its concluding with Sonali Dogra’s enchanting performance.
Members of the Management Committee, including Chairman Parshotam Sharma, President Pranav Sharma, Managing Director Parshant Sharma, and Academic Director Radha Sharma, Mohini Sharma, Aprajita Sharma, Nikhil Gupta, Headmaster Poonam Bhagat and Principal of GD Goenka Toddler House were also present there.
