JAMMU, Dec 25: 5th Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Karate Championship was organized by Amateur Karate-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) at Mahajan Hall, Shalamar Jammu here today.
The two-day competition witnessed huge participation from various districts, across J&KUT. The Championship was declared open by Arun Parbhat Singh, President BJYM Jammu and Kashmir UT, who was the chief guest and Yuvraj Singh, Vice President BJYM J&K-UT, who was the guest of honour on this occasion.
The tournament was held under the technical supervision of Shihan Ambedkar Gupta Organising Chairman AKAJK and Executive Committee Member Karate India Organisation (KIO) and Sanjay Kumar, General Secretary AKAJK. The tournament was conducted as per the rules and regulations of WKF/ KIO and under the technical supervision of Sensei Ritika Rawat Judge “B” AKF, Sensei Akhtar, Head admin of KIO Sport data Team and Raj Sanchu Rajwar from KIO.
