JAMMU, Jan 30: Republic Day celebrated with zeal and patriotic fervour.
Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education, Lakhanpur celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Shiv Nandan Sharma, social workers unfurled the National Flag, followed by National Anthem. Principal Manjeet Kaur threw light on the importance of the day. On the occasion, students presented various cultural items. Teaching, non-teaching staff and locals were also present.
Lord Shiva Research Institute, Raipur Kathlai, Samba celebrated Republic Day, wherein provincial vice president of National Conference Satwant Kaur Dogra unfurled the National Flag in presence of locals, staff members, students and their parents. Students presented a colorful cultural programme.
Government Higher Secondary School, Rehal, Bishnah celebrated Republic Day. Principal Baljeet Singh unfurled the National Flag in presence of staff members and students.
65th Republic Day was celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm in Government High School, Aghar Jitto, district Reasi. Headmaster Susham Lata hoisted the National Flag in presence of locals, staff members and students. Cultural items were presented by the students. The students who participated in cultural items which promote Dogri language were felicitated by Dogri Sanstha, Jammu through Abdul Qadir Kundria, Dogri writer and poet.
Republic Day was celebrated at Government Middle School, Chandli where NC leader Satwant Kaur Dogra unfurled the National Flag. Students presented cultural programme. Principal of the institution, staff members and locals were also present on the occasion.
Jawahar Navodya Vidyalya, Udhampur celebrated Republic Day. Principal of the school Jai Pal Singh Jamwal unfurled the National Flag, followed by March Past by NCC contingents of the school. Students presented variety of cultural programmes.
