KATHUA, Jan 7: Kathua District Athletics Association organized Kathua District Athletics Championships at Government Degree College Kathua here today.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Physical Education, Government Degree College Kathua and sponsored by J&K Sports Council. There were around 150 boys and girls participating in various age groups in this championship.
Medals and certificates were also awarded to the winners by Er Sandeep Majotra, Member District Development Council (DDC) Nagri who was chief guest in the presence of Sharat Chander Singh General Secretary J&K Athletics Association, Dr J S Soodan Director Physical Education GDC Kathua, Joginder Kumar, Manager Sports Stadium Kathua and Sanjeev Singh, General Secretary Kathua District Athletics Association.
