Doda, Jan 10: To promote harmony and inclusivity in the region, Indian Army has conducted a two day long wrestling championship under Operation Sadbhavana at Sports Stadium, Doda which commenced here today.
The tournament brought together youth of various backgrounds and communities to foster friendship, camaraderie and a sense of togetherness. Local schools, colleges and youth groups have enthusiastically joined the initiative, forming a total of 34 youth that will compete over the course of the tournament.
The event is expected to not only showcase exceptional Wrestling Championship talent but also highlight the spirit of unity and harmony. The tournament showcased not only their sporting talents but also instilled a sense of camaraderie and unity that will be cherished for years to come. Organizers said it will give a platform for youth to participate in a district level tournament and empower them to excel in sporting activities.
