RAJOURI, Jan 12: Trader Club defeated Al Momin Sports Club by 14 runs in a T20 Cricket tournament which commenced at Thannamandi, here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Thannamandi Shafiq Ahmed Mir at Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi whereas Tehsildar Thannamandi Sahil Ali Shah was also present as guest of honour on the occasion.
Block Development Officer Rashid Khawaja, Prof Naseem, Traders President Arshad Nawaz Khan, President Press Council Thannamandi Imran Khan, Aejaz Ahmed Mir and Tanveer Ahmed Bhat were also present including a large number of locals.
The SDM advised youth to keep themselves away from drugs and participate in sports activities to keep themselves fit and healthy. He also expressed concern over drug menace.
