JAMMU, Jan 20: Daksh Kesar of St Xavier Convent Senior Secondary School, Barnai Jammu shined at National Thang-Ta championship held at Kurukshetra, Haryana where he won gold medal for Jammu and Kashmir in Under-14 category.
The championship has presented a platform to Daksh to show his prowess in the upcoming traditional Filipino martial arts of Arnis. Being the winner, he will now represent India at the 17th WEKAF World Championship, a global event which is scheduled to take place in Cebu, Philippines from July 21 to 28, 2024.
