Shivani leaves for National C’ship

JAMMU, Jan 20: Shivani Charak, an ace sport climber of J&K left for participation in the 4th Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship which scheduled to be held at TSAF Sport Climbing Training Centre, Bistupur, Jamshedpur from January 26 to 29, 2024.
With total prize money of Rs 6.50 lakhs, the Tata Steel Championship is the biggest competition in India. Before her departure for Delhi Shivani Charak who has the distinction of being the first ever woman athlete of J&K to participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games, China called on the President of Mountaineering Association of J&K Zorawar Singh Jamwal to apprise him. Ram Khajuria, Sumit Khajuria, Senior Vice President and President and Sonam Sidharth, an executive member of Mountaineering Association of J&K were also present on the occasion.
