Maintain Park near CBI Office
I wish to invite kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the poor maintenance of a small strip park located adjacent to the CBI office near Dr BR Arnbedkar Chowk. This park is in a very bad shape and a part of it has grown thorny bushes and unwanted grass.
The park if properly maintained can be well utilised by the public of this crowded locality and the occupants of the nearby residential apartments. But presently this park is in shambles and the concerned authorities must take necessary steps to maintain this park in a proper manner.

“Bring back Ration Depot of Subash Nagar Udhampur”
In Oct 2023 the Ration Sales Depot W No. 1, Subash Nagar, Udhampur was suddenly shifted by the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department (FCSCA) Udhampur outside Subash Nagar at W No. 18 Housing Colony Udhampur. The reasons behind the extremely painful dislocation/shifting is better known to the FCSCA Deptt Udhampur. The Ration Depot was functioning here smoothly and successfully for over the years to the great satisfaction of the area inhabitants. It was also a safer place from the vehicular traffic point of view.
But the dislocation/shifting of the pinned Ration sale depot, which is an essential service, has created manifold hardships for the inhabitants particularly women, old and infirm. The FCSCA Deptt, Udhampur has disturbed the smooth flow of an essential service. The local populace is highly perturbed and filled with resentment against the unjustified shifting.
To bring back the dislocated Ration sale depot I submitted two representations to the Dy Commissioner Udhampur viz first against receipt No. 5440 dated 27-10-2023 and second against receipt No.6151 dated 01-12-2023. But the much needed result is still awaited. The concerned higher authorities should look into the serious matter and resolve it by bringing back the dislocated Ration Sale Depot to its original location viz Subash Nagar, Udhampur at the earliest. So that the local residents may be relieved of the unbearable difficulties and stress.
