JAMMU, Jan 30: Hermann Gmeiner School celebrated its Annual cum Prize distribution function ‘Udaan’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Sunil Hali Justice (Retd.) Chairman FFRC (J&K) was the chief guest. Debaroti Bose, Head Education and Child Development (ECD) among other dignitaries and a large number of distinguished parents were also present.
School principal, Mukesh Thakur presented ‘Annual Report’ of the school wherein he highlighted achievements of school in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas. Various cultural items like classical dance, Rhythmic yoga, Qawwali, radiant rhythms presented by students. The item presented on save girl Child, Child Labour created a social message among the gathering.
Debaroti Bose, Head ECD said that the Annual Day is a platform for our students to showcase their talents and abilities. She also expressed her belief that success comes as a result of united and consolidated efforts by every member of the team and continuous support from parents. She also stressed on developing apart from academic skills, the life skills of students so that they can give wings to their dreams.
The chief guest applauded the students for their outstanding performance and urged them to aspire for excellence in their future endeavours. Headmaster Ashok Kumar Raina delivered vote of thanks.
