SAMBA, Feb 9: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur, Surjeet Singh Slathia today laid foundation stone for construction of Community Facility Centre (CFC) at village Trindia which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 18 lakh out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Slathia said that on the completion of CFC the people of the area can organise social and religious functions in the building. He also inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains completed at a cost of Rs 4.10 lakh out of which Rs one lakh were provided under CDF and Rs 3.10 lakh under MGNREGA by Rural Development Department.
While addressing the gathering, Slathia said that the Omar led Coalition Government is committed to equitable development among the all regions of the State. He also highlighted the achievements of coalition Government during the five years and cautioned the people against there dividing the people who divided the people on the communal basis.
Among others Panchs, Sarpanchs and BDO were also present on the occasion.
