SAMBA, Feb 1: In a harmonious celebration of patriotism and music talent, girls of Humanity Public school, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana secured 2nd position and cash prize of Rs 10,000 in patriotic song singing competition at Divisional Level.
The event was organised online by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Jammu and Kashmir Government. The programme aimed to infuse a sense of national pride among the participants and honour the spirit of freedom.
The winners of the competition were Sonia (7th), Akriti (8th), Anshika (8th), Nandini (8th), Pallavi (8th) and Sheetal (8th). The girls were trained under the guidance of efficient and potent music teachers, Rajan and Abhilash. In a heart-warming conclusion the cash prize of Rs 10,000 was awarded to the School Principal, Gaurav Charak by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on the eve of Beating Retreat at M.A. Stadium, Jammu.
All the winners were felicitated in a special assembly by School Principal, Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku Charak in the presence of all the students, staff and faculty for their effort and dedication. Principal, Gaurav Charak encouraged and applauded the students and the teachers’ trainees to carry their zeal into their future roles and emphasized the importance of their responsibilities towards nurturing future generations with a strong sense of love for their country.
