JAMMU, Feb 10: The Annual Day Function of Chetan Academy, Bajalta Sidhra was celebrated with fanfare, here today.
State general secretary Bahujan Samaj Party, Mr Wazir was the chief guest on the occasion.
Different cultural and allied items were presented during the function. Krishan Salsa, Shiv Parvati presentation and couple dance Salsa were the main attractions.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Wazir congratulated the management of the school for keeping the standard of the school high in the spheres of academics and extracurricular activities.
Mr Wazir asked the authorities to consider the genuine demand of Jandrah people for creation of Tehsil in addition to Tehsils already allotted.
Raj Gopal, chairman of the School presented vote of thanks.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Sarpanch Gardhari Lal Sharma, RC Sharma, Mohan Lal Verma, Sita Ram, Madan Lal, Jamat Ali, Haider Ali and Zareena Begum.
