JAMMU, Feb 7: Inter-Collegiate Football (Men) tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced at University Football Ground, here today.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the opening match, who interacted with players before the start of the game.
Others present on the occasion were Dr Vimal Kishore, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Ravish Vaid, Padam Dev Singh, Jai Bharat, Harinderpal Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Dr Mahak, Manus Singh Pawar and Rishiv Sharma.
Results of the matches were GDC Kathua beat MIET College by (5-0), GDC Udhampur beat Dogra Law College by (3-1), GDC Samba beat GDC Marh by (5-1) and ASCOMS Jammu beat PG. Department Jammu University by (2-1).
