JAMMU, Feb 8: Toycathon 2023, organized under the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, witnessed significant participation from Jammu and Kashmir, with a total of 1,25,000 students.
Among them, Jammu Division contributed 55,000 students, with Kathua District boasting the highest participation at 19,000 students.
Sehrish,a dedicated student from class 8th, of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, represented her school in category 1 of the competition. Following her impressive performance, she was honored with a consolation prize during the felicitation ceremony organized by SCERT today.
Notably, Sehrish’s innovative creation, the BIOSCOPE, caught the attention of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks (CGPDTM). This recognition underscores the importance of fostering creativity and innovation among young minds.
CGPDTM’s acknowledgment reaffirms the potential and originality of Sehrish’s toy design, showcasing her talent on a national platform dedicated to promoting innovation and intellectual property rights in India.
She was mentored and guided by Sheetal (PGT Bio) and Mukesh ( PGT Fine Arts).
