JAMMU, Feb 8: Shiv Sena Shinde has demanded implementation of Relief and Rehabilitation plan for Rattle Hydro Electric Project, Drabshalla and other power projects under construction in Ishtar district in letter and spirit.
Tilak Raj Shan Zonal president of the Sena said that since the project is under construction the authorities are liable for implementation of relief and rehabilitation plan which is the part of construction policy of the Government. He said the Administrative Council headed by Lt Governor has also approved that the RR Plan be implemented for Rattle and other power projects under construction in Kishtwar district.
Shan urged Government to exert pressure on project authorities to implement the RR Plan so that the people do not suffer any more and development of the district takes place without delay. He further demanded that one member of each affected family whose land has been acquired for the construction of power projects in Kishtwar be given a permanent job.
