JAMMU, Feb 9: Akhnoor team clinched the title of late Havildar Ishar Singh Memorial Volleyball tournament at Akhnoor here today. In a display of skill and determination, Akhnoor team emerged victorious with scores of 25-23 and 25-21, thus clinching the championship.
The event was held at the School Ground of GHSS Nardi in Nardi Bala. The dignitaries of the occasion were Subedar Ram Singh, DGPC Ranvir, Havildar Ram and K.K Sharma. The tournament was organized by Surinder Malhotra, Gurbaksh and Shampu. Adding to the excitement, Sumit Sharma was honoured as Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
