JAMMU, Feb 12: A debate competition was organized by District Police Kathua Today.
The topic of the debate was “Cyber Crime” and “Drug addiction”. Mohan Lal, SP Kathua, R S Ravat CO 121 CRPF, Yogesh Sharma Additional SP Kathua, presided over the function.
A total of 15 participants from various Government Schools / Colleges of Kathua participated in debate competition.
Vishal Pathania BSc Part 1st,  Sourav Kumar  BA Part 2nd  and  Nitika BSc Part III  of Govt. Degree College Kathua   were adjudged as winner of the debate Competition respectively.
They were awarded with mementos, commendation certificates and cash reward of Rs 1500, 1200 and 1000 respectively. Beside this rest of the participants were awarded with cash reward of Rs 200 with commendation certificate each by SP Kathua.
RS Ravat, CO 121 Bn CRPF,  Sandeep Chowdhary   Professor in English of Govt College Kathua,  Madhavi Prasher, Professor of Government Women Degree College,  Kathua   also attended the event and act as judges and  Ashesh Singh as stage secretary. Besides, prominent citizens of Kathua city, media persons, officers/ officials of DPL Kathua / CRPF, IRB Haryana Police were also present in the function.
Dy SP DAR conducted the proceeding of the events. The debate competition culminated with vote of thanks presented by Dy SP DAR Kathua, Sanjeev Kumar KPS.
