JAMMU, Feb 12: Minister for Planning & Labour Ajay Sadhotra today laid foundation stone of community hall at Bua Dati Sathan in village Sarora of Marh block.
The community hall would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs.20 lakh under Constituency Development Fund.
The Minister also paid obeisance at Bua Dati temple and prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.
On the occasion, the people of the area thanked the Minister for providing adequate funds for the construction of community hall near the Bua Dati Temple. They also appreciated the measures taken by the Minister to upgrade the basic facilities in Marh block like road connectivity, installation of poles and transformers, construction of lanes and drains, blacktopping of various link roads, upgradation of school from Middle to Secondary level, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sadhotra said that the state has witnessed massive development under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He said that the Government has ensured equitable development of all the regions, adding that various Centrally and State sponsored schemes have been launched to uplift the socio-economic condition of the people of the State. He appealed the people especially youth to avail the benefits of these schemes.
The Minister also participated in annual congregation of the biradari and paid obeisance there.
