Discrimination with the disabled

Sir,
The discrimination with the disabled continues in the State so far as their employment in Govenrment sector is concerned. A example can be cited here.
The Service Selection Board has failed to give us our dues in recent recruitment drive. As per Supreme Court order 3 percent reservation should be given to physically challenged people. But SSB does not abide by this order. In the recent teacher selection list notified by the SSB, the number of candidates from the physically challenged section should have been more than 500, but only 105 persons have been shortlisted for the interview. The figure itself speak of the discrimination and no further proof is required in this matter.
Besides, the Government has not fulfilled all assurances given to this community from time to time. To provide relief to the people who use wheel chairs, it was suggested that the Government offices shall have provision for ramps, but whenever a new building comes up, these ramps are nowhere there. Likewise, there  are other problems too which need to be addressed. The Government should therefore constitute a Special Task Force to look after the grievances of the physically challenged people.
Yours etc…
