JAMMU, Feb 26: Inter-Collegiate Gatka (Men & Women) competitions were organised by Cluster University of Jammu in GGM Science College, here today.
Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal GGM Science College was the Chief Guest during the opening ceremony and Dr Ranvijay Singh, Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ was the Guest of Honour during the final matches of the Men & Women sections.
The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education & Sports, CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College. In the Men’s section Govt. MAM College won the match by scoring 106 points. Govt. SPMR College of Commerce remained runner-up by scoring 97 points
In the Women’s section GGM Science College won the title by 142 points and Govt. MAM College remained runner-up with 72 points. The match was officiated by Taranbeer Singh, Jasvinder Singh, Kamaljeet Singh, Varundeep Singh & Ravinder Singh.
