RAJOURI, Mar 1: Department of Islamic Studies, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, organised a two days workshop on Intellectual Property Rights.
In his inaugural address, Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of the University, emphasized that such a workshop is important to provide faculty members, research scholars and students valuable insights into the realm of Intellectual Property Rights.
Adv Roshan Jebin from IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal, and Dr Showkat Ahmad Mir, Sr Faculty Member, Department of Economics, BGSBU, Rajouri, shared their views on the theme. The resource persons extensively discussed the several aspects of IPR including the basic concept of Intellectual Property Rights, legalities of IPR, private and public domains of IPR, protection of IPR: strategies, challenges, and solutions etc.
Faculty members of the department also shared their insights on the theme.
Dr. Shams Kamal Anjum, Associate Dean, School of Islamic Studies and Languages chaired the technical sessions.
Dr Naseem Gul presented the opening remarks on theme of the workshop.
Dr Naveed Anjum presented the vote of thanks.
