JAMMU, Mar 14: A cricket match between Commercial Department Railway (CDR) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) was played at Railway Ground Jammu here today in which Commercial Department Railway emerged victorious.
After winning the toss, Commercial Department Railway team captain Parshotam Singh (Chief Commercial Inspector) decided to bat first and set a target of 161 runs for the loss of four wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, the Railway Protection Force team managed to score only 130 runs on the loss of eight wickets in stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 32 runs. Railway Protection Force (RPF) Captain Chetan Prakash gave 44 runs in his three overs and got out without scoring a run. Sanjeev Kumar was declared as man of the match for his 86 runs in 50 balls.
