Sir,
I want to bring into the kind notice of the Chief Minister of this State that thousands of youths especially those from rural areas have crossed the upper age limit generally prescribed for the recruitment to various State Govt. services. Many of these youths are graduates,post-graduates and possessing professional degrees like B.Ed,M.Ed, M.Phil, B.Tech. etc.
Many of these highly qualified candidates have low merit and donot fit into different criteria being adopted for the selection to the post of teachers, assistant, junior assistants etc. Seeing their higher qualifications Govt. should frame a policy to absorb all these highly qualified unemployed youths at least as clerks or assistants if not as teachers or some higher officials.
Upper age limit for all Govt. jobs for those who are graduate and above should be discarded totally or raised upto 45 years. I,therefore, request the Chief Minister to frame a new recruitment policy so that all professionally trained and PGs get absorbed against one post or the other relaxing upper age limit for them.
Yours etc…
