JAMMU, Mar 15: The five-day Crash Course on the new Criminal Laws-2023, which commenced at SKPA on March 11, 2024, concluded today.
Fifty police personnel from the rank of Constable to Inspectors of J&K Police, District Jammu, participated in the course. The program was organized on the directions of the J&K Police Headquarters, with the objective of familiarizing the police personnel with the key provisions of the new Criminal Laws-2023 recently promulgated by the Central Govt, ensuring their implementation on the ground.
On conclusion of the crash course, a valediction function was organized in the Academy, with SSP Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Dy Director (Indoor) SKPA, serving as the chief guest.
Eminent speakers, including Amit Parkash Sehgal, Sr PO, SKPA; Sukhvir Singh, Dy SP, AD (Admn) SKPA; Inspr Rakesh Manni, SKPA delivered impressive lectures to the trainees, focusing on understanding the new Criminal Laws to address contemporary challenges in law enforcement.
The course was coordinated by Inspr Paramjeet Singh and assisted by SI Subash Chander of SKPA Udhampur.
