JAMMU, Feb 21: Government College of Education (GCE), Canal Road, Jammu organized a one day workshop cum exhibition on the theme, ‘Low Cost, No Cost Teaching Aid’ here today.
15 local B Ed Colleges participated in the workshop.
College Principal, Dr Kaushal Smotra presented welcome address, while Dr Kiran Bakshi, Ex-Principal, Govt College of Education, Jammu and Dr M L Parwana, Ex-Principal, Govt College of Education, Jammu were the guests of honour.
Dr Kaushal Smotra highlighted the various components of the workshop and thrived light on the significance of the event in strengthening the profession of teaching.
R M College of Education, Jammu bagged the first prize, K C Gurukul, Jammu clinched the second prize and Govt College of Education, Jammu claimed the third prize.
Prof C L Shivgotra gave the vote of thanks at the end.
The event was organized by Prof C L Shivgotra, Prof Anju Bala, Dr Jyoti Parihar and Dr Piyali Arora.
