JAMMU, Feb 21: Consequent upon adoption of ITI, Kishtwar under VTIP Scheme, Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited, provided tools/equipments for workshops and Maruti Gypsy to ITI, Kishtwar in a well attended function which was presided over by Arvind Bhat, General Manager, Dulhasti in the presence of Ajay Mathur, Chief Engineer, NHPC, Altaf Hussain, Principal, ITI, Kishtwar, Mohd Ashraf Wani, Assistant Director, Employment, Masood Ahmed Bichoo, Project Manager, DIC, Sajjad Hussain Naqeeb, Assistant Director (VTIP) Staff Members and students of ITI, Kishtwar.
During the function, Scholarship was also distributed by Mr Bhat to the meritorious students of ITI, Kishtwar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhat said that tools and equipments have been provided to the Institute based on the Need Assessment Survey.
He assured that all out efforts shall be made by NHPC Limited to upgrade ITI, Kishtwar by providing it with required infrastructural facilities and equipping workshops of various trades with all the required tools and equipments. He further advised the students to work hard during their course studies for making judicious use of their time.
