KATHUA, Mar 18: Kathua police have traced out one missing girl in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Billawar who was missing since February 21 this year and reunited her with family members.
Police said on February 21, a missing report was lodged at PS Billawar by one Tirath Ram of Najot tehsi Lohi Malhar district Kathua stating therein that his daughter namely Arti Devi, is missing . Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Billawar vide GD Number 20 dated 21.02.2024 and search was started to trace her, police added.
Acting instantly on the missing report the girl was traced out vide DDR No. 08 dated 18.03.2024 by the police team led by SHO PS Billawar under the guidance of SDPO Billawar. Meanwhile the traced girl was immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
