J&K people not happy with BJP: Gupta

JAMMU, Mar 19: BSP has claimed that people of J&K are not happy with BJP because of its anti-people policies.
In a handout BSP general secretary and media head J&K Rajesh Gupta claimed that people of J&K are suffering on all counts.
“After getting power BJP betrayed public mandate and its experiments cost too much to the people of J&K who lost their identity as a State besides losing all safeguards to their land and jobs,” he maintained adding: “The people will not spare BJP for its undemocratic decisions of imposing heavy taxes, price hike and economic crisis.”
Gupta said that claims of BJP to form next Government in Delhi and J&K aimed to mislead the public about the party’s popularity.
“BSP will not allow the murder of democracy by BJP which is now desperate to register another victory even by hooks or crooks,” he continued.
The BSP leader said that all sections of the society were suffering under BJP rule as promises made to them have now turned out to be hollow.
“BJP has befooled PoJK refugees and sanctioned only a meagre amount of Rs. 5.5 lakh per family against Rs. 30 lakh per family as recommended by the then State Government,” he said.
