RAMBAN, Mar 24: Kreeda Bharati Jammu and Kashmir elected Dalair Singh as president of district unit Ramban in a meeting held at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir School Complex, here today.
A formal announcement of appointment was made by President Kreeda Bharati, J&K and former Joint Secretary, J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Shiv Kumar Sharma in the presence of district incharge, Rahul Sharma.
Earlier, secretary Kreeda Bharati J&K, Rajesh Chander Vaid briefed the gathering of prominent individuals about the organisation and its mission of promoting the indigenous sport and sense of nation building among the youngsters. A staffer of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Dalair Singh remains active in sports activities at the district level. Further, the newly appointed president has been advised to look forward to constitute his complete district unit in near future.
