REASI, Mar 28: Police arrested two drug peddlers and seized two grams of heroin like substance from their possession.
While conducting surprise checking at Sulla area, a team of Police Station Reasi apprehended the accused, identified as Rashid, son of Mohd Aslam, resident of Ward number 2, Reasi and co-passenger Shajad Ahmed, son of Abdul Aziz of Ward number 8, Reasi.
During frisking the Police team recovered heroin like substance from dashboard of the vehicle they were travelling in. The Police team was led by SHO Reasi, Chaman Gorka, under the supervision of DySP HQ Reasi, Neeraj Padyar.
In this connection, a case FIR number 60/2024, Under Sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation is ongoing to unearth backward and forward linkage.
