JAMMU, Mar 29: Hailing from Jammu and representing the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU) in the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI’s) domestic tournaments, talented right-handed batsman Aarav Mahajan has been selected to attend the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Camp to be held in Rajkot in Gujarat from April 26 to May 22, 2024.
Aarav has got the nod of Junior National Selectors’ for his outstanding performance in both Under-19 Men’s Vinoo Mankad (One-Day) and Cooch Behar (Multi-Day) Tournaments.
While missing a few Cooch Behar Trophy matches during the season due to unavoidable reasons, promising Aarav has scored around 800 runs, with 3 centuries and 3 half-centuries. He scored 2 centuries and two half-centuries in Cooch Behar Trophy and one century and a half-century in Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
It is pertinent to mention here that Aarav, who apart from U-19 Trophy also represented Uttarakhand in U-23 Men’s Tournament last season, had also made it to the NCA Camp for his fabulous show with the willow in 2022-23 season also.
