State judokas win 5 medals in Nationals; winners felicitated

JAMMU, Feb 25: Displaying extraordinary skills, the State judokas won 5 medals including 1 gold and 4 bronze in the recently concluded Youth and Junior National Championship held at Dehradun in Uttarakhand.
Ace judoka, Shikha Bhau won gold in 57 kg category, while the bronze medals went to Kabra Altaf, Sabiya Shafeeq, Dheeraj Kumar and Arunnesh Sarin.
The team was accompanied by coaches Suraj Bhan Singh, Ritika Slathia, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal and manager Abdul Hamid Khan.
The medal winners alongwith coaches were felicitated by Thakur Rachpal Singh, president J&K Judo Association in presence of vice president RC Thakur, secretary Vikas Gupta, who also happens to be joint secretary of Judo Federation of India and Suraj Sharma.
