MCS student shines at Jr Nat’l Swimming C’ship

KATHUA, Apr 9: Vanshika , a student of Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot shined in the Junior Women’s Swimming Series Round 2 held at Bahadurgarh, Haryana.
She received a cash prize of Rs 40,000 for her outstanding performance in the series. She secured the first position in the 200-meter freestyle, second position in the 200-meter butterfly, and second place in the 200-meter individual medley along with clinching the third spot in the 100-meter butterfly.
For her outstanding performance, she was rewarded with Rs 20,000 prize from Khelo India and an additional Rs 20,000 from the Haryana Government. For her achievement, Principal Rashmi Ahluwalia, Chairman Vinod Mahajan, and Vice Chairman Akash Mahajan applauded Vanshika and her family.
