JAMMU, Apr 10: Secretary Vansh Sabre Sports foundation Kuldeep Kumar Gupta has urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to open a dispensary by providing the services of one physician and a Nurse at MA Stadium, Jammu & Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.
Gupta said every day around one thousand players of all age groups (Boys/Girls) came for practice at MA Stadium in Jammu and Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, but both these stadiums lack first aid centres or medical treatment facility and players are completely dependent on Government Hospital in case of injury.
He said a timely first aid can be a life saver or can save the career of a player if immediate first aid is provided to them. He urged the Government to establish a first aid dispensary in both places in Jammu and Srinagar without any further delay by deploying a doctor and nurse.
