PK announces support to BJP in elections

JAMMU, Feb 28: Political Affairs Committee (PAC) Panun Kashmir held a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of Prof M L Raina.
The meeting was also addressed by PK president Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo.
Addressing the meeting Mr Chrungoo said PK extends its full support to Narendra Modi led BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and appealed people to make the party candidates from the State successful.
The meeting expressed its satisfaction over the Party decision to give mandate to BJP state president Jugal Kishore Sharma and its National Executive Member and chief spokesperson of the State, Dr Jitendara Singh from Jammu –Poonch and Kathua, Udhampur constituencies respectively.
He said it is high time for nationalist forces in the State to consolidate the nationalist opinion. The PK leaders visited length and breadth of the country in creating renewed awareness about Kashmir situation and the plight of displaced KPs and continuous marginalization of nationalist forces in the State.
Virender Raina PK national spokesperson said the passage of Shrines and Temples Bill is a big test for the Government. He expressed the hope that the Government will prove its commitment on the subject.
He said a lot of debate has been held on the issue and if any body wants more debate the KPs are ready for the same.
Vice president PK, Upinder Kaul its general secretary, Kamal Bhagati , organizing secretary, Vijay Qazi, Ramesh Kaul and Sameer Bhat attended the meeting.
