Bhargava Public School Samba holds function

SAMBA, Apr 20: Bhargava Public School Samba organized a function in the school premises today for the toddlers of Upper Kindergarten Section who are promoted to class 1st.
The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the parents of the students along with Chairman and Principal of the School. To start with the bonanza of cultural items, the students presented ‘Saraswati Vandana’ to pay respect and obeisance to Goddess of knowledge Mata Saraswati.
The tiny tots of the Kindergarten Section of the School were dressed in colorful attires. The dance performances by the students of Lower Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten Section of the School were mesmerizing and made everyone applaud.
The students of 1st class who only got promoted this month from Upper Kindergarten also gave their ‘Bhangra’ performance besides western dance. The students of the Upper Kindergarten Section were given citations and medals for their academic performance by the Chairman and Principal of the School.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the School emphasized the need to impart and inculcate moral and ethical teachings and that too in play way methods as per the New Educational Policy. He further added that the tiny toddlers are like soft clay, the way you want them to mould they will be moulded. It is the duty of the parents and the school to inculcate good habits among the students, he added.
Principal of the School said that the first school of the child is the home and first teacher is the mother while second home is the school and second mother is the teacher, whatsoever the students learn from them remains for life and it is the habit formation stage. “Here at Bhargava Public School Samba, the teachers are their parents and treat the students as their own kids,” he added.
