SRINAGAR, Apr 21: Bollywood’s acclaimed actor Emraan Hashmi was spotted today in Baramulla while shooting for his upcoming film “Ground Zero.”

Upon his arrival at the movie set in the old town of Baramulla, locals gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood star. He was seen wearing an army uniform on set, offering a sneak peek into the character he portrays in the movie.
Hashmi’s shoot in Kashmir’s Baramulla district has not only thrilled fans of the actor but also brought excitement to the residents, some of whom even landed roles as extras in the film.
“I am happy that the film crew came here. I am playing the role of a vegetable seller. I do not know anyone in the film, but I am glad to have found employment,” said a local in a video posted on social media. “I have not seen a film being shot here since I was a child. The situation has improved, and more movies should be shot here,” he added.
The locals are thrilled to see their hometown featured in a Bollywood production and the presence of Hashmi has particularly stirred excitement among residents. “I saw Emraan Hashmi for the first time, and I am excited. More films should be shot here,” said another local.
