JAMMU, Apr 21: A two day long Northzone Karate Championship -2024 organised by Association of Karate Jammu and Kashmir concluded at Bhagwati Nagar Sports Stadium, here today.
In this championship nearly 300 students participated in different States of the country in different weight categories. Association of Karate Jammu and Kashmir chief patron RK Gupta, AJJK president Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, AKIK advisor Nitin Mahajan, Joint Secretary Ramesh Raina, Chairman Dr A S Bhatia, Amit Gupta, General Secretary Amit Singh and Treasurer Vikas Dhar were present on the occasion.
The results of Jammu and Kashmir in the championship were in under-16 years (45 kg) Daksh Choudhary won Silver while Rahil Choudhary won Bronze medal. In (60 kg) Shiv Pratap won Bronze medal, in (under 65 kg) Tanush won Gold, Saksham won Silver while in Plus-65 kg weight category Anant Dhar won silver while Arush Sharma won Bronze medal in the championship.
