Black Auto Union stages protest

JAMMU, Apr 21: J&K Black Auto Union (JKBAU) here today staged a protest demonstration in which many auto drivers and owners participated and demanded Government control over e-rickshaws so that these electric vehicles should operate within their allotted zones.
The protest was led by Sunil Dimple, chairman JKBAU who demanded that RTO Jammu and SSP Traffic should organise Nakas in Jammu city to check that e-rickshaws ply in their allotted zones.
He also said that RTO Jammu and Transport Commissioner should stop the sale of more e-rickshaws in Jammu city as it has badly hit the work of black autos.
The JKBAU chairman urged upon J&K LG to intervene into the matter.
JKBAU president, Sanjay Sethi claimed that e-rickshaws are violating the directions of RTO and SSP Traffic.
He said after the start of e-buses, the work of black autos, minibuses and buses has been badly hit.
Haneef Choudhary, Ajiet Singh, Amar Jeet Singh, Pawan Kumar, Chaman Lal, Vikram Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Madan Lal, Rameshwar Kumar, Ashok Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
