SRINAGAR, Mar 4: A ten-day ski course for girls organized by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, University of Kashmir which started on March 1, 2014 is in full swing at Gulmarg.
Around 20 students from various colleges and PG Departments of the University are participating in the ten-day course which is being supervised by Assistant Director, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports KU Dr Basharat Ali, Hilal Ahmed and Surjeet Kour.
According to the organizers of the skiing course the programme has been conducted to hone the skills of the girl skiers and provide them an opportunity to undergo such training programmes which will help them to showcase their talent at various sporting events.
