Release ration quota of Kashmiri migrants forthwith: KMWM

JAMMU, Apr 29: President Kashmiri Migrants Welfare Movement, (KMWM) Sunil Pandita today urged the Relief authorities to release the ration for the month of April immediately.
The ration for the month of April which was supposed to be released by 5th of April has not been released so far and with the result the Kashmiri migrants putting up in different camps and non camps in Jammu and other places are suffering badly which is a matter of serious concern, he said in a statement issued here, today.
Pandita has appealed to the concerned higher authorities and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants J&K to take the cognizance of this serious issue and get the ration released forthwith so that the displaced people are able to eke out their living and their miseries are addressed on priority basis.
He also appealed to streamline the ration distribution system on the past pattern so that migrants may not suffer any more for want of ration in future times and the availability of the same be made well in time.
