JAMMU, Apr 30: Shaurya International School (SIS) held a programme here today where student leaders were formally vested with their responsibilities.
Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, Administrative Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, J&K was the chief guest. Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, Sahil Mahajan, Vice-Chairman, School Trustees and School Management Committee were present on the occasion.
While welcoming the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, Principal Dr Rajesh Gandral apprised them about the steps taken during the election process. The newly appointed student council members, adorned in their sashes and badges, took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values and ethos of the school.
Chief Guest Kumar Rajeev Ranjan highlighted the importance of leadership in today’s dynamic world. He urged the student leaders to lead by example and positively impact society. In his speech, Chairman Harinder Mahajan emphasised the significance of the Investiture Ceremony in shaping the character and future of the students. At the same time, Vice Chairman, Sahil Mahajan encouraged the students to lead with morality and compassion.
